Seattle Trauma Scene Cleanup: Certifications Are Required

September 20, 2017 by Jeremy Dalton

When you think about serious accidents and crime scenes, you are naturally going to focus on the victims, but what about the trauma scene cleanup? Many people are under the impression that there is some type of governmental department that would be called on to clean up after these scenarios unfold, but in fact, this is not the case. If you are responsible for property that has been the scene of an incident involving blood or other bodily fluids, it is up to you to engage a trauma scene cleanup resource.

You may assume that you can assign the job to your in-house maintenance crew if you are a business decision maker, but there are laws against people who are not certified handling biohazardous materials. Many different diseases can be transferred through blood, including multiple forms of hepatitis and HIV. These materials must be handled very carefully, so training and certifications that are necessary to be able to provide trauma scene cleanup services legally.

Our company, Bio Clean, can step up to the plate to complete trauma scene cleanups in the Seattle-Renton-Everett-Tacoma area, and we also respond to cleanup calls in Olympia and further south. We have been exceeding the expectations of people in these areas since 1998, so we bring a great deal of experience to the table. Plus, when it comes to qualifications, we actually have more than the basic certifications that are required by law.

While some crimes take place in public places, there are also homicides and suicides that occur in individual homes. Under these circumstances, the victim’s family members are going to be very emotional, and we fully understand this dynamic. Our team members are carefully selected for their professional qualifications, but we also look for people who have a great deal of empathy for others. When we respond to a Seattle trauma scene cleanup situation, we treat people the way that we would want to be treated if we were in their position.

We Will Be Here When You Need Us!

Crimes and other events that can create biohazards can take place at any hour of the day or night. As a response, we provide emergency service around-the-clock, seven days a week, and we can reach the scene quickly. If you ever need a trauma scene cleanup in Western Washington, call Bio Clean at 888-412-6300.
